Dozens of helpful tips will be discussed throughout each session.
We work on self-tape skills and callback performance.

How The WorkShop works:

After registration, students will receive sides and create a self-tape in advance.
Students will submit those self-tapes like they would a normal audition which will be critiqued in class for performance and quality.
We'll find ways to improve every aspect that needs it.
Students will also work on new copy in the room while learning and perfecting techniques to bring to future auditions.
Flexibility.

We know life is busy. And sometimes inconsistent.
No long-term commitment needed.

There's always more to learn and perfect.

All students must register in advance in order to receive:
1. Sides for your self-tape.
2. Sides for in-class performance.

*Self-tapes must be submitted by 4pm on the day of The WorkShop to be eligible for review.*

Is this live or remote?
This workshop happens in-person only.
What will I learn?
Each week will focus on a various themes and techniques, which will be incorporated into the sides.
Such as:
Use of Improv
Cue card technique
Open-ended interview questions
Dissecting and Interpreting copy
And many others.
Plus, dozens of additional aspects of the audition process will also be addressed at each session.
Is there a discount for registering for multiple sessions?
Yes. 10% off for a 3 session pack.
The 3 sessions must be purchased in a single transaction.
All 3 sessions must be used by the same person.
All 3 sessions must be used within 3 months.
The cancellation policy below applies to each session.
What's the cancellation policy?
Due to the self-tape creation aspect, refunds allowed if cancellation is made at least 4 days in advance. No refunds after 5 days prior to class.
What's the parking situation?
There is normally plenty of street parking on Beverly Drive.
What skill level is the workshop?
This primarily for the intermediate and those new to commercial auditioning, but all skills are welcome.
Each actor is critiqued and adjusted based on their personal skill and experience level.
All talent will get to see each other's auditions from inside the casting room as the casting director and clients see it.
You will learn from your own participation as well as from watching others.
Who teaches the workshop?
Tim Harrington teaches all the classes. He is a working commercial casting director and member of the CCDA with over 25 years of experience in the commercial business. See bio above in ABOUT section.
Is this for all ages?
This workshop is for ages 18 and over only.
